Home antioxidant activity of pinus rigida mill
Variability in chemical composition and antioxidant activities of Pinus halepensis Mill. essential oils, collected from ten different bioclimatic areas in Algeria was investigated. The impact of geographic variation and environmental conditions on this variability was studied by using canonical correspondence analysis. The antioxidant activity of P. halepensis Mill., was also measured by FRAP and ORAC methods. The extract at 30 μg/mL showed an IC 50 value 173.7 ± 0.47 μg/mL by FRAP and 1.19 ± 0.31 μM Trolox equivalent by ORAC test (Abbou et al., 2019).
The antioxidant activity was evaluated with diff … Effect of precipitation solvent on some biological activities of polysaccharides from Pinus halepensis Mill. seeds Int J Biol Macromol. 2019 Dec 1;141:663-670. doi: 10.1016/j.ijbiomac.2019.08.266. Epub 2019 Sep 3. Authors ...In this study, physicochemical characteristics, phytochemical compositions, and antioxidant activities of Pinus halepensis Mill. seed oils (PHSO) from two geographical origins (Algeria and Turkey) and obtained through two different extraction processes (cold pressing and solvent extraction) were determined. PHSO were majorly consisted of linoleic and oleic acids.
Pinus radiata bark showed the highest polyphenol content and potent antioxidant activity. Pinus rigida bark was also a usable polyphenol-rich source, whereas Pinus densifl ora bark had a low yield (5.1%) of hot water extract, although it showed potent antioxidant activity. Correlations between proanthocyanidin content in pine bark and ...3.1. Evaluation of the Antioxidant Activity of Essential Oils. The antioxidant activity of the essential oils obtained from the fresh needles of 46 pine species, including 37 and 17 taxa of the subgenera Pinus and Strobus, respectively, was evaluated using the POCL assay.
Antioxidant activity and inhibitory effect on oxidative DNA damage of ethyl acetate fractions extracted from Cone of Red Pine (Pinus densiflora) were investigated to find utilization of Cone, by ...We analyzed the antioxidant and anti-wrinkle effects of Pinus rigida Mill. (pitch pine) to evaluate its use as a cosmetic material. (pitch pine) to evaluate its use as a cosmetic material. 3-[4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyl-tetrazoliumbromide assay was performed to evaluate the toxicity of the sample.
Apparent density of woodpellet (Pinus densiflora S. et Z.) was passed the first grade standard level (≥ 640 kg/m3), and woodpellets from Pinus rigida …showed the highest percentage of antioxidant activity 79.93% [19]. Moreover, Pinus halepensis . extracts are important sources of bioactive compounds possessing important antioxidants, antihemolytic and Geno protective effects [20]. Bark extracts from other Pine species have been reported to possess potent antioxidant activity. Extracts of . Pinus
